Peter C. KarpFinancial Advisor | President
Peter C. Karp founded Karp Capital Management as an independent financial management firm to provide clients with an objective alternative to large brokerage houses.
Karp Capital Management is registered as an investment advisory firm with the SEC, and Mr. Karp is a Registered Representative with Infinity Financial Services, a registered broker-dealer. He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association, adhering to its Code of Ethics.
Mr. Karp is also licensed as an insurance agent and real estate broker. As such, he has experience in a variety of investment management and financial planning roles. Mr. Karp believes that financial professionals should work directly for their clients, providing advice without being fettered by the bureaucratic strictures found at large financial institutions.
Mr. Karp received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Bio-Chemistry from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He enjoys spending time with family, running, skiing, and experiencing the great restaurants of San Francisco. He is a supporter and contributor to the Las Trampas Foundation and a mentor to undergraduate business students at UC Berkeley.
Andy CzajkowskiDirector of Investment Services
He is responsible for new account processes and assists in data and account maintenance. Andy is a graduate of The University of Arizona where he obtained his Bachelor's degree in Economics and minors in both Business Administration and French. Since graduating from college, he has worked in financial services building practical and solid knowledge of the industry. Before starting at Karp Capital Management, Andy worked in consumer banking where he established a thorough understanding of industry practices as well as client relations.
Bob DriscollDirector of Retirement Services
Bob joined Karp Capital after working for several financial services firms in Boston, MA. His prior experience includes mutual fund accounting, tax administration, and 401(k) record keeping sales. Bob received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Denison University. He holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation and Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses. Bob enjoys his hometown sports teams and various outdoor activities around the Bay Area.
Carolina AcostaTeam Administrator | Executive Assistant
If you have called the office recently, odds are you have spoken to Carolina. After graduating from the University of Houston, Carolina worked at various nonprofit associations. Since joining the firm, Carolina works tirelessly in the background assisting Peter and the rest of the Karp Capital Management to team create a seamless client experience. Carolina enjoys hiking around Marin County, visits to the Wine Country, and exploring all the Bay Area has to offer.
Carolyn OrlikRetirement Client Service Associate
Prior to joining Karp Capital Management, Carolyn was a trust administrator and account manager for 401(k) corporate retirement plans. Her background also includes customer service and managing client projects from concept to execution. Working in the non-profit arena, Carolyn kept many balls in the air managing volunteers for a performing arts center. Carolyn earned her BA in Social Science at San Francisco State. She loves hiking the Sonoma Coast and can often be found enjoying live music events and cheering on the Warriors. Carolyn also enjoys serving her community as a board member for a local nonprofit.
Curtis ChristianInvestment Operations Associate
Curtis came to Karp Capital Management from the investment banking world. His industry career began while attending San Francisco State University where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Finance, and later obtained his Series 7 and 63 securities licenses. Curtis is responsible for onboarding new clients and overall client service. Curtis strives to make each interaction with Karp Capital a white glove experience. Curtis volunteers in the community and enjoys his dog while exploring all the cuisine, culture and natural beauty of San Francisco and Marin County.
Erik MidasInvestment Representative
Erik works with our clients to create personal financial plans and budgeting for retirement. Erik joined Karp Capital Management with 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. His prior experience includes securities trading, fixed income trading, investment banking and alternative investments. Erik also works with the sales team developing new client relationships, both on the personal and corporate retirement side. Erik received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Utah. Erik enjoys nature walks, hiking and spending time with his daughter.
John GrilloInvestment Operations Associate
Before joining Karp Capital Management, John worked for several financial services firms in Philadelphia PA. John received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Finance and is studying for the CFA exam. As a member of the new accounts team, John strives to make clients comfortable and informed by setting expectations during the onboarding process. John enjoys running in races with his cousins throughout the city, boxing, and cycling.
Lee A. HenleyDirector of Retirement Operations
Ms. Henley has 25+ years experience in the financial services and securities industry. From 1985 to 2003, Ms. Henley represented several private syndication companies funding healthcare and commercial accounts receivables and real estate development programs. Her financial career began with Fidelity Investments in 1980 marketing 401(k) and 403(b) programs to institutional investors and educating individual investors on mutual funds and IRA investments. As a Regional Sales Manager with Fidelity she was instrumental in establishing one of Fidelity’s first retail investment centers in San Francisco as well as training registered representatives in various satellite offices on the West Coast.
Ms. Henley is a member of National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA), Western Pension & Benefits and holds a California Real Estate license.
Merri WeinerChief Compliance Officer | Director of Operations
Merri’s 20+ years of experience in the investment industry, spans brokerage and investment advisory operations as well as portfolio management technology. She manages the client services/investment operations group and steers the course for the firm’s adherence to industry compliance and standards.
Michael AttawayInvestment Services Associate
Since graduating from the University of Arizona, Michael has worked in a variety of roles within the financial industry. Michael uses his background in software implementation and investment management to assist in research, client service and reporting. He is currently undertaking a Masters in Financial Analysis at the University of San Francisco and is a CFA Level II Candidate. Michael enjoys fishing, snowboarding, and going to 49er games.

Liz has 12 plus years in the mortgage industry. She enjoys the challenges of the industry and searching for the most competitive rates the market has to offer. She is committed to customer service and finding the best loan programs available to meet the client’s specific, individual needs.
